So far its been a great wedding season. Lovely couples and venues in both Warwickshire and Leicestershire

In the last few weeks we have been lucky to provide for Weddings in Coventry x 3, Nuneaton, Barrow upon Soar, Cosby etc. One of my pleasures is to find the quieter routes to the marriage ceremony and onwards to the reception. Although I have covered many local miles as a cyclist I am still amazed at the lanes and villages that I was not aware of prior to my years as a wedding chauffeur. Thanks to our couples for allowing us to participate in joint discoveries as they relax together driving through the beautiful English countryside. Recently we have made consecutive journeys from Nuneaton to Burbage and chose to take the lovely lane through Burton Hastings with the hood lowered. Both couples loved the relaxing environment before arriving at Sketchley Grange and the Hinckley Island Hotel. Hannah and Chris were married at Holy Trinity Church, Barrow upon Soar then travelling through Quorn and Woodhouse Eves to Bawden Lodge Farm, Nanpanton. First visit for me and I was impressed with the lovely country wedding environment they have created. The couple booked a Red Routemaster bus converted to a bar - very inviting!

Debbie and Kevin enjoyed a short but enjoyable Sunday afternoon drive from St Mary's Church, Walsgrave, Coventry for a reception at Brandon Hall Hotel. The couple chose to enjoy fresh air whilst travelling at a "regal" pace with the hood lowered on the Badsworth.

Hannah and Chris enjoying a "toast" prior to leaving for their reception at Bawdon Lodge Farm, Nanpanton. The Beauford is a lovely car with the hood down but has to be driven slowly to avoid any hair problems! On this occasion it was raised after we had driven down the High Street in Barrow upon Soar and lowered again as we approached the reception at Bawdon Lodge Farm

Our Wedding last Saturday required quite long journeys to Church and reception. Sophie and her Father were driven from Nuneaton to St Michael's and All Angel's Church, Cosby and thanks to the impeccable timing by Sophie we arrived exactly on time. Following the ceremony we took an even longer drive - 21miles to the reception at the Heart of England Centre, Fillongley north of Coventry. A good deal of the journey was along pleasantly smooth roads. We did however have to negotiate the many speed humps encountered through Bulkington and Bedworth. Can't be avoided in Nuneaton and Bedworth! Heavy clouds were around on our arrival at the reception but rain just missed us. I even managed to drive home with the hood down in the dry.
